Answers to your questions

How do you test for allergies and sensitivities?

At The Little Allergy Clinic, our technology does not test or diagnose allergies directly. We test the nervous system’s perception of different substances using Kinesiology or muscle testing. By doing specific muscle testing we can determine whether your nervous system is ‘stressed’ by a substance or ‘not stressed’ by a substance.   We know that you are ‘stressed’ by a particular substance as this will cause temporary muscle weakness. We use an FDA-approved biofeedback machine (BAX 3000) that creates a digital signal mimicking your allergy or sensitivity.

You will be amazed at how your body reacts when we identify a cause of your symptoms!

What do you test for?

We are able to test for over 120,000 substances bundled into over 100 categories of foods, environmental substances, and body chemistry-related substances.

For example: The “Dairy Products” category contains over 113 types of dairy including various proteins and minerals while the “Grasses and Weeds” category contains over 206 varieties that may be affecting you.

Some of the common irritants our patients inquire about:

  • All types of foods: wheat, dairy, sugar, corn, nightshades, gluten and many more.

  • All types of chemicals in foods: sulfates, nitrates, histamines, oxalates and more.

  • All types of airborne substances: pollens, weeds, trees, animal dander, pollution and more.

  • Various stimuli: sunlight, motion sickness, wind and barometric pressure.

How does the ‘treatment’ work?

Our nervous system has significant ‘say’ in whether our immune system over-reacts to a substance or not.  By using modern pain-free techniques like Vagus Nerve Stimulation and cold laser, we train your nervous system to calm its stress response thereby quelling the allergy symptoms associated with it.

What happens during your ‘treatment’?

Each treatment takes approximately 10 minutes. It is safe and non-invasive.

We start by using an FDA-approved device that creates a digital signal mimicking your allergy or sensitivity.  Your body will recognize the allergen but the signal is not strong enough to stimulate an allergic response.

Next, we relax your nervous system by running a soothing percussion device along your back. In addition, we have created specific breathing sequences to help maximize the effectiveness of the treatment.  This stimulates the Vagus nerve and helps keep your body in the para-sympathetic state (rest, digest and heal).

Finally, we use our Class IIIA cold laser to increase endorphins in your central and peripheral nervous systems.

Is this treatment safe?

The treatment is 100% safe because we aren’t exposing clients to the actual proteins or trigger substances in their allergens – just the digital biofeedback signal.

You are not ingesting, breathing, or having any substance pass a body barrier, therefore you will not have an allergic reaction.

How many treatments does it take and how soon until I feel better?

The amount of treatments needed varies from person to person and is based on a few variables. How many allergies/sensitivities are you experiencing? What is the severity of the symptoms?  In addition, the length of time you’ve experienced symptoms and  your overall health are also determining factors.

Mild condition/children- 5-15 treatments

Moderate condition- 15-25 treatments

Severe condition- 25-35+ treatments

Regarding how soon you will feel better? This is the hardest question for us to answer.  Some patients experience results after their first treatment. Generally speaking, most patients experience a reduction in symptoms within the first 3-7 treatments. This typically means that you are a ‘responder’ to our therapy. Continued improvement should follow.

How often do I need to come in for treatments?

The most we can provide is 2 treatments in 1 day and there has to be a 4-hour window between treatments. Your schedule and budget determine how often you can come in.

Out-of-town clients will be with us twice a day, every day until they leave. Local clients also have that option. You can come in once a day, once a week or even once a month until all your stressors are cleared up. We don’t recommend going more than 1 month between treatments.

Do you guarantee my results?

We wish we could. Unfortunately, there are too many variables outside of our control that can cause people to develop new or re-occurring allergies such as drugs, medication, dietary habits, lifestyle, illnesses, etc.

Can you treat people that are anaphylactic?

No, we do not treat anaphylaxis. We have treated and received positive feedback from patients that are anaphylactic to certain allergens, strictly for accidental exposure and in attempt to reduce symptoms to other allergens.

Can you completely cure allergies?

The proper answer is “no” and every physician should reply to you with this answer. Through the steps we utilize in our clinic, you can certainly gain health and reduce or eliminate your allergy symptoms!

Is this covered by insurance?

NO. The Little Allergy Clinic does not currently contract with any insurance companies.

Do I need to change my lifestyle?

What a great question!  The answer depends entirely on how you are currently living your life through diet, nutrition and exercise. We highly recommend that you do the best you can each day by eliminating genetically-modified foods (GMOs), eating organic, doing regular detox work, exercising and maintaining a positive outlook in life. We will be happy to advise you on these issues in much more detail during your time at The Little Allergy Clinic. Please note, the above advice is recommended but not necessary for our treatment to have a positive impact on your life.
